Mike began his career with Ernst & Young in 1988. He joined Cassady Schiller as a tax manager in 1994, when his primary focus was working with high net worth individuals and entrepreneurs. He expanded his knowledge in these areas to include financial planning and became a licensed investment advisor in 1999. In 2005, Mike was designated a PFS, Personal Finance Specialist, by the AICPA. The PFS credential is awarded to CPAs that have attained specific experience, education, and exam requirements that sets them apart from other CPAs and financial planners. Mike was named by Cincinnati Magazine as one of the best wealth managers in the city as judged by client satisfaction ratings for 2009-2020.*
Mike graduated from Miami University with his Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). He is involved with the Evans Scholars Foundation and Legatus International. He also serves on the McNicholas High Board of Trustees, and the Greater Cincinnati Foundation Financial Advisory Council.
